Buffer has announced that it’s now possible to use its web and mobile app – on both iOS and Android – to schedule Instagram Stories.
The ability to schedule Instagram posts has always been a bit of an issue for social media managers. As Instagram never offered this feature natively (until now), we all had to rely on the various third-party tools out there like Buffer.
When Facebook rolled out Instagram scheduling on Creator Studio recently, one important aspect was missing: the ability to schedule Instagram Stories. We’re pleased to say that you now be able to use Buffer to do so. The new feature will make it easy for users to plan and storyboard their Instagram Stories, and to even create draft captions ahead of time.
The Instagram Stories scheduling on Buffer works just like Instagram post scheduling did at the beginning. As Buffer can’t post Stories on behalf of Instagram users, when scheduling Stories, users will need to set a reminder to finish off the job on their mobile device.
