You probably know We Heart It, or at least you have heard of it, right? It’s an image bookmarking platform, notoriously popular with teens.
Well, We Heart It is taking advantage of its stronghold among teenagers, to launch its second mobile app, Easel – a new way to quickly create images with quotes.

We Heart It has gained its audience and it now had to offer them something new, something more, to keep them active. And with 80 to 90% of its audience coming from mobile, it made perfect sense for the platform to look to expand with a second mobile app.

The new generation of social apps can no longer focus on just sharing content. Mobile creation tools (i.e Pablo for Buffer) are the new direction, and so it made perfect sense for We Heart It to go that way – its core activity is image-focused.
Easel is designed to answer to all these objectives. With it, users can quickly create images using quotes, and then share them on We Heart It or elsewhere on social: Easel is fully integrated with Instagram, Tumblr, Twitter and Facebook.

Easel is very simple to use: Just pick a photo (from your Camera Roll or from thousands offered within the app), choose a font, and type to enter your quote. You don’t even need to sign up to use the app… now imagine that!

For the moment, Easel is only available for iPhone.
