Hello video creators and publishers! We have a very exciting announcement to make. It looks like Facebook is trying out some new CTA buttons for its users.

According to SocialTimes, the social network is now trialling a new way to display CTA buttons and prompts on its videos. Those buttons will appear on the actual video. Up until now, CTAs were always placed below the video in the form of buttons.
Why is this important? Well, firstly it’s because Facebook has been investing a lot on video lately. By introducing 360 videos and dedicated video feeds, Facebook is betting on luring more and more users into its platform. Yes, it still lacks the experience and overall reach of YouTube, but it’s on a steady track.
The second reason is Facebook ads. Facebook has a unique arsenal of targeting capabilities, that is available for video ads as well. With Facebook video surpassing photo ad spend for the first time, it’s only natural for the social network to launch new features that will delight creators and advertisers alike.
Exciting times!
