Snapchat’s global virtual event exploring today’s AR “lenscape” is open to the public, and taking place this week. Make sure to register!
Snap continues to make a big push into AR this year, with the launch of various features and AR experiences in the last few months. In other news, Snapchat’s Lens Fest is open to the public this year, and everyone is invited.
Especially if you’re into AR, this will be an event that you don’t want to miss. The three-day event will showcase all the latest in AR developments in celebration of Snapchat’s Lens Creators.
“Lens Fest will be held in an immersive, interactive environment, letting attendees navigate to sessions, demonstrations, a library of tutorials, a gallery of Lens Creators, and more,” explains Snap in its announcement. “Each day of Lens Fest will feature three core sessions to educate and inspire attendees, as well as a demonstration in Lens Studio, Snap’s free and public desktop application for any creator or developer to build augmented reality experiences for Snapchatters.”
