This is the cast every podcast dreams of: a legendary rock star and an ex-President of the United States of America. In their exclusive show called Renegades: Born in the USA, Barack Obama and Bruce Springsteen will discuss “race, fatherhood, marriage, and the state of America,” per a press release, and the first two episodes are available for both free and premium Spotify users. The first season will contain eight episodes total.
This new podcast is a production of Higher Ground. The Michelle and Barack Obama-owned production company signed a deal with Spotify back in 2019, committing to creating exclusive podcasts for the platform. After “The Michelle Obama Podcast,” “Renegades: Born in the USA” will be the second exclusive podcast for Spotify.
