Content creators can create and share their videos directly on YouTube, without the need for further editing and image manipulation. All they have to do is to make them available for virtual reality, and the platform will then finish the job.
How is this achieved? According to the announcement, YouTube examined the ways in which the human eye and brain perceive images and how they view the world. Then, they put all this knowledge into action.
YouTube also announced exciting updates for viewers as well. From now on, everyone with an Android phone can enjoy a VR experience through the YouTube Android app. All you need to do is get a Google Cardboard, search for your favourite video on the app, select the “Cardboard” option from the view menu and then enjoy the new, immersive experience.
Amazing news! Now, I guess it’s Facebook’s turn!
