Welcome to the latest edition of this week’s top social media trends! How is 2017 so far? I’m sure it will be an awesome year again for social media, so happy new year guys! Today we’ll talk Instagram (the big winner in 2016), Facebook Messenger reminders, and Cimagine, the latest acquisition by Snap Inc.
There’s no doubt 2016 was the year of Instagram. Not in my head anyway. The platform evolved so much over the past 12 months, it’s hard to even remember how Instagram was in January last year! And most of the new features the company brought are actually awesome additions to the platform.
But that’s not all about Instagram either. Facebook added a cool new feature to Messenger and Snap Inc. has acquired a new and very exciting company… Can 2017 be the year of Snapchat?
