Released in late April in the US, the second generation of Snap’s Spectacles is now available in the US, UK, and Canada, via Amazon.
On April 27, Snap unveiled the new version of its Spectacles. While the new version looks almost exactly like the original one, the new Spectacles differ by their functionality. They now allow you to take pictures and video, both in HD, offer better audio and are water-resistant – for awesome underwater action.
Today, Snap announced that the Spectacles v2.0 will finally be available in the UK and Canada as well. As an interesting spin, Snap chose to work with Amazon to expand its reach. Plus, now you can get them quicker thanks to Amazon’s next day shipping! More countries in Europe will be added soon, including France, Germany, Italy, and Spain.
The Spectacles will set you back $150, including charging case and cable, and they will be available in the following frame/lens combinations: onyx/moonlight, sapphire/twilight, and ruby/daybreak.
