Later has had a visual planner for Instagram on desktop for some time, and is now making this available on mobile as well.
If you’re into curating your Instagram feed before you even post something, Later‘s drag-and-drop visual planner for Instagram will come in handy. The feature separates Later from other schedulers, as it gives you a visual representation of your feed, with your posts within it.
You get to then drag your posts around until you are happy with the way they sit next to each other. You can use it to put together your perfect Instagram feed – and then schedule your posts.
The app will even suggest a best time to post, which you can also use to automatically post your images at the right time.
Last week, Later announced that it would be updating both its iOS and Android apps with the visual planner feature, allowing users to plan their feeds on their mobile devices. This of course makes a huge amount of sense, as most Instagram users manage everything about their accounts from their mobile devices. After all, Instagram is still a “mobile-only” platform, despite recent updates that increase its desktop features slightly.
You can use a basic version of Later with the feature for free (it’s limited). If you’re already a user of Later, you should be receiving the update imminently. The update also came with a few other “cosmetic” changes in the UI.
