Instagram is adding ads to its Shop tab, where users can be redirected to the advertised page, share products, and save items to a wishlist.
Last week, Instagram introduced ads within the Instagram Shop tab to make it easier for people to discover and shop from brands when they’re already in the mood to browse.

The Instagram Shop is a fully dedicated shopping surface the platform launched last year where people can discover and shop new trends, see the latest product drops, and support small businesses – all in one place.
According to the announcement, the ads will appear as tiles on the Shop tab home page and will lead users to the Product Details Page when tapped on.
There, users can learn more about the item, view additional imagery, and browse additional products from the brand.
The feature will also allow users to save the browsed product to a wishlist and share it with friends, as well as hide or report the ad.
Ads will be rolling out in countries where the Instagram Shop tab is available.
