Back at the World Mobile Congress, Microsoft announced that Facebook Messenger would be available to its phones within weeks’ time. Now, the time has come. Yesterday, the company confirmed that the messaging app is ready for download for its users.

You can download Facebook Messenger from the Windows Phone Store by clicking here. The Redmond company has been trying really hard to close the gap between Windows Store and other platforms, however, the signs have not been promising. Only late last year, Instagram was made available for Windows Phones.
The truth is, that Windows Phones have been really late picking app the latest apps and, especially, social apps that keep users hooked on their phones. Is it worth the wait? Only time will tell.
