As part of its effort to give Stories a push, Facebook is testing a layout for the Stories composer that makes it easier to use.
Facebook is working on a new layout for its Stories composer to more easily add to a story. The new Facebook Stories composer layout, spotted this week by Jane Manchun Wong allows users to add Text, Stickers, Effects, or to Draw simply by tapping at bottom of the screen.
Also, there also another option to apply a “Studio Effect,” and the right-hand sidebar offers shortcuts to the adding specific Stickers – GIFs, Feelings, Location, Tag Friends, or Music.
The new layout seems a lot easier to use, as it adds many more options right from the main view.

The test is clearly part of Facebook’s continuous efforts to make Stories a much more significant part of its platform and people’s daily sharing of content.
While 500 million people using the feature daily is not a failure by any means, it’s not quite what Facebook had planned for Stories.
