If you’re a Mac user, you certainly had a moment of utter joy when Twitter finally updated its OS app. Well. this might make you even happier: a leaked photo obtained by TechCrunch shows that Facebook could be working on a Messenger app for Mac.

While messaging apps are mostly built for mobile, more and more users are enjoying the comfort of their desktops or laptops to chat with their friends. Truth is that a full keyboard becomes really handy when it comes to write long messages fast. And also, we share more and more media, and that too is better consumed on larger screens. WhatsApp has a desktop app, Macs have an iMessage app, and now Facebook Messenger could soon have its own app for Mac too.

It’s not strange that Facebook could be working on such an app for Mac computers. Many users, including myself, much prefer to use our laptops than our mobiles our tablets, especially from the comfort of our sofa our bed.
