Brands can now bring interactive elements to their sponsored Instagram Stories with today’s rollout of poll stickers for Stories ads.
With over 500 million daily active users, Instagram Stories have become a hit for advertisers across the world. And 60% of brands are now using Stories to add interactive elements to their messaging, such as location, @mentions, hashtags and stickers. These are now finally becoming available to Stories ads too.
First of its kind, the poll stickers is now available for advertisers to use into sponsored Stories on Instagram.
To do so, advertisers must head over to the Ads Manager, select Instagram Stories as their only ad placement and check the box to “Add an interactive poll.” Once the creative is uploaded, advertisers can then fill in the details for the question they would like to ask.
In a blog post, Instagram said that 9 out of 10 beta campaigns including Poll stickers saw an increase in the number of 3-second views. Dunkin’ even saw a 20% lower cost per video view in its trial of the new feature, while Next Games drove 40% more app installs.
