Apple is now offering onsite repairs for your iPhone, sending authorized service providers to your home or office to repair your device.
Broken screen, faulty display or unresponsive buttons? There are so many reasons why you could need a quick repair on your iPhone. Yet, despite it being 2020 and Apple one of the biggest tech companies on the planet, getting your device fixed can still be a nightmare. After all, who can really send in their iPhone for a repair, and live 5-15 days without it? No one.
Today Apple has started offering a new onsite repair service that utilizes authorized service providers to come to your home or office and repair your device.
The service is only available in select U.S. cities for now and can be accessed through Apple’s support site, where under certain circumstances you’ll now see the new onsite repair option in addition to the existing in-store and mail-in services.
Apple has partnered with Go Tech Services, to launch the new service, which is available in San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, Houston, and Dallas. For now, it also seems to cover certain kinds of repairs only.
