Here are a few tricks to drive engagement and promote your business.
1. Design Your Own Geofilter On Snapchat
Ever wonder why there are so many Geofilters in the Snapchat world? I don’t think it’s a team of Geofilter wizards traveling the world. Although that would be a pretty sweet gig… Anyone can submit an originally designed Geofilter just by following this link. Snapchat even provides a few tips on how to submit the perfect Geofilter.
Although you can’t design a Geofilter for your business location, it doesn’t hurt business to say you designed a Snapchat Geofilter for a local area, or landmark.

2. Make Sure Your Business Has An Instagram Location
If your business location is not already on Instagram when you hit “add location” while posting, then learn how to create a new location here.
Make sure to see who’s checked in at your business periodically by clicking on a location link in a post or by searching the “places” feature in the search tab. This enables you find people who have not only checked in at your business, but have become brand advocates by sharing it with their followers.
3. Search For More Than Hashtags On Twitter
It doesn’t have to be a hashtag to search for it on Twitter. Just type in the name of your business in the Twitter search bar. You may find your business is being talked about, but they might not be using your Twitter handle or hashtag. It’s a good way to see what people are saying about your brand. Just as you would search for your own name or brand on Google, do the same on Twitter.

4. Start Advertising On Instagram
Previously, only certain brands were able to advertise on Instagram. Any business is now able to advertise on Instagram, directly through their Ads Manager on Facebook. This makes the once exclusive feature pretty handy. All you have to do, is connect your Instagram account while creating a new ad set on Facebook.
