I scream, you scream for… GIFs. Yes! GIFs. They are everywhere. On Twitter, Facebook, and on Tumblr. And Tumblr now has a tool to help you create GIFs out of your videos. Cue, the GIF Maker!

Ever since Facebook announced that it was allowing GIFs on the platform, Tumblr has been the place where we get most of our GIF links. Tumblr IS the place for GIFs and is now giving everyone the ability to create their own, from videos and bursts from your device. If you have Tumblr’s mobile app, just go to the Photo option and choose a video or sequence of photos to convert to an animated GIF.

You can then choose to have your animation loop back and forth or loop, zoom in and out, and make it faster or slower. But, and it can be only 3 seconds long. Hours of fun.
