There are many Facebook Messenger users out there who share their devices with others. So, it makes a lot of sense to allow them to switch between their separate accounts, without having to log out and log back in. Now users can switch between their accounts easily on iOS devices.
A recent GlobalWebIndex report found that over 30% of Facebook Messenger users, “share their mobile devices with at least one other person”. Earlier in the year Facebook gave Android users the ability to switch users from within their apps. Now, iOS users have been given the same feature. Available under the mobile app’s “settings” tab, there is now a new option – “Switch Account”. There you can now add the accounts that you’d like to switch between. It really is that simple.
