Just a few days after announcing that it now has over 1 billion users, WhatsApp keeps on playing the BIG numbers, and now introducing a new feature that lets you organise group chats with up to 256 people!

The update is already available to both iOS and Android app users, bringing the limit from 100 to 256 of people that can take part in one single group chat. Windows and Blackberry users will, however, have to wait.
You will notice the increased limit as soon as you visit the chat section, but nothing else has changed: you can keep on creating chat groups in the exact same way you did before, except that now you can add more contacts to each chat group.
