WhatsApp Is Working On Messages That Disappear After 24 Hours

According to reports, WhatsApp is now working on a new feature that lets you send messages that disappear automatically after 24 hours.

Last year, WhatsApp launched a new feature that lets you send messages that would disappear after seven days. Apparently, that’s too long for many people, so WhatsApp is now working on letting you choose between seven days and 24 hours instead.

The new feature was spotted by WABetaInfo – the Disappearing  Messages options are to turn it off, have messages disappear after 7 Days, and 24 Hours. It is under development and will launch in a future update of WhatsApp for various platforms.

This is not WhatsApp’s only disappearing message feature. Earlier this year, the platform announced a feature that would cause certain images to self-destruct when you leave a chat.
