As its Business app turns one, WhatsApp has announced it is bringing several popular business features to web and desktop as well.
There are over 5 million businesses around the world using the WhatsApp Business app to grow their business and serve their customers. To support them further, and to celebrate the first anniversary of its WhatsApp Business app, WhatsApp has announced that three popular features from the app will now also be made available on web and desktop.
In a recent announcement on its blog, WhatsApp mentioned the three popular features coming to web and desktop:
- Quick Replies: The feature allows businesses to answer common questions by pressing the “/” on their keyboard to select one from a list of quick replies and send it.
- Labels: The feature allows businesses to organise their contacts or chats with labels, so they can easily find them again in the future.
- Chat List Filtering: The feature allows businesses to easily manage their chats with filters that help them sort by unread messages, groups or broadcast lists.
