TikTok has introduced Creator Next, a new monetization option, giving creators access to new and existing tools and rewarding them for their creativity.
Last week, TikTok introduced Creator Next, a new monetization opportunity giving eligible creators access to tools, rewards, and passes to the TikTok Creator Marketplace, in addition to the existing LIVE Gifts and Creators Fund.
As part of Creator Next, TikTok is also presenting two new features that allow its community to show their appreciation for their favorite creators with new features, namely Tips and Video Gifts.

The new Tips feature allows people to show gratitude to creators for their content directly, with creators receiving 100% of the tip value. The platform will be processing the payments with Stripe.
The second new feature introduced under the Creator Next program – Video Gifts – allows creators to collect Diamonds by going LIVE and posting videos. It represents a different way for users to interact and engage with their favorite content and creators.
To make it easier for creators to collaborate with brands on its platform, TikTok is also opening the TikTok Creator Marketplace (TTCM) to more creators.
After proving that creators’ sponsored recommendations on products and services can spark massive moments for brands worldwide, TikTok is now opening up TTCM to all eligible creators with 10K followers or more so that they can collaborate with brands on opportunities that fit their interests and creative style, opening up new ways to get paid.
Creator Next is adding the above new features in addition to the existing LIVE Gifts tool and the Creator Fund, opening up further opportunities for creators to be recognized and financially incentivized to keep producing their content passionately.
