Using the caustic tagline “We think they may have been looking for tacos. Not sure.“, the restaurant staff uploaded the burglary footage, as caught by the security cameras. But, before publishing it, they made sure they brought their trolling A-game and made some necessary edits.
The uploaded video features comprehensive subtitles, that help viewers understand that the burglars were not after money, but after Frijoles and Frescas’ delicious tacos. Powered with emoji (and the recently added taco emoji) and a killer soundtrack, this otherwise mundane video succeeded in bringing down some of the most elaborate marketing campaigns of the year.
