After Snapchat and Instagram, Stories have made their way to Facebook. And now they are coming to Facebook Pages too!
[UPDATE] Facebook is now saying this will be the place for admins to see Instagram Stories insights…
It seems that the future of social media content is “ephemeral” content… After Snapchat successfully made Stories a thing, Instagram blatantly – and successfully – copied the feature. Then it was Facebook’s turn to also add the feature. But users never really seemed to show much interest in it. Well, things are about to change, as Facebook is now preparing to expand the feature to branded pages.
The feature was first reported by The Next Web and we confirmed it is already showing on our Facebook Page.
We have not yet been able to publish a Story, but a new “Stories” tab is now available under the branded content section of our Page’s insights.
There are no details communicated by Facebook at this stage, but we anticipate the feature will be in all ways similar to the one already available to personal profiles on the app. And I imagine that brands will be more keen than users to make full use of the new feature.
Now let’s wait and see when Stories really become available on Pages!
