To help marketers reach audiences in Brazil, Pinterest is now expanding its advertising solutions to the country with a full toolkit of targeting, shopping ads, interactive measurement dashboards, and other tools.
The launch of Pinterest Ads in Brazil is the first expansion of its ads product into Latin America. More countries in the region will be coming soon.
“Brazil is one of Pinterest’s largest markets outside of the US,” explained Jon Kaplan, Global Head of Sales at Pinterest. “Our scale, paired with the unique mindset of people on Pinterest, makes our audience incredibly valuable to marketers. We’re thrilled to bring this opportunity to advertisers in Brazil and look forward to expanding across more countries in Latin America.”
Brazil is an important market for Pinterest for numerous reasons.
This is because shopping is different on Pinterest, as “people come for an experience, not a transaction.” According to Pinterest’s own data, 66% of people say inspiration is critical in helping them decide what to buy, and this makes it a key shopping driver.
