According to  Androidcentral, there have been cases of people who were able to see each other’s personal notifications on Instagram. Simply put, if you are managing an account along with a colleague, then the latter may be able to receive your personal Instagram notifications on his or her device, and you may be seeing his notifications as well.

The notifications do not stay there forever, so this means that your colleague probably won’t be able to interact with them, however, the problem still persists, and it is a serious breach of personal information and data. It’s most probably a case of Instagram tying users and their respective multiple accounts they have access to, rather than binding devices and accounts, which would probably help solve the problem.

While the extent of the problem is not, as of now, clearly defined, we are sure that the developers at Instagram will soon release a patch to fix this bug. Until then, it’s recommended to give access to a single person only, to avoid any awkward Instagram situations.
