Instagram has announced it’s working on an option to save your Instagram Stories as drafts that you can post later.
Creating Instagram Stories can become quite laborious at times – especially for brands that want to be more flexible with how and when they post Stories.
This is why Instagram is working on a new feature that will give users a little more control over story-creation and publishing: Instagram Stories drafts.

You will soon be able to exit the story creation process, save a story you were working on as a draft, and even manage multiple drafts to use later.
Sure, you can already download Stories to your camera roll to publish in the future, but this doesn’t happen natively – so you lose any interactive elements like tags, etc.
Yet, if you’ve always dreamt of the ability to save an Instagram Stories draft to use it later, you’re not the only one.

This one is apparently a much-requested feature as it saves creators a lot of time, and now Instagram is delivering – at least with an announcement. That’s because story drafts aren’t being rolled out just yet.
We can only guess it will be pretty soon, though. App researcher Alessandro Paluzzi was able to access the new feature – you can take a look below.
