We’ve built a free Instagram captions line breaks tool to help you easily format text to use in your Instagram or Facebook posts and bios – or even your Twitter bio. Check it out!
Instagram allows a caption to be 2,200 characters long, which is plenty to write a short blog post. If you plan on filling that space, you’ll need to break up your text into paragraphs. Even if you don’t write long captions, you still might want to break your text into paragraphs with multiple lines between them or just leave a few lines between your caption and your group(s) of hashtags.
Especially if you’re the type of person who adds hashtags as part of your caption – and not in the first comment – the latter is handy to be able to do.
Instagram lets you add one line between text under certain circumstances – i.e. if you add a full-stop at the end of a line and then press enter twice to leave a line before the next paragraph or sentence. Many people use another method – adding full-stops (or other symbols) to leave “fake” spaces between lines. Let’s be honest: The result isn’t always great…
To help out, we’ve built a handy line breaks tool that will help you leave as many spaces (line breaks) as you want between blocks of text in your Instagram captions or Instagram bio.
We have confirmed that the tool also works on Facebook posts and profiles, as well as Twitter bios. It could also work on many other platforms, but we just haven’t tried yet.
