Furniture company Herman Miller and Logitech G have announced the Embody Gaming Chair – the “first truly ergonomic chair” for gamers.
To meet the needs of pro gamers and streamers, Herman Miller and Logitech G (Logitech’s gaming brand) a series of high-performance gaming furniture and accessories, including the Embody Gaming Chair, which, Herman Miller says is “the industry’s first truly ergonomic chair.”
The two companies worked together for the last two years, studying e-sport professionals and gamers around the world to better understand their needs.

“Prior to the in-depth research we did, we knew many gamers loved our current offering as we are constantly rated highly in almost every gamer product review,” explains Tim Straker, Chief Marketing Officer for Herman Miller. “The main feedback we received was they wanted more variety.”
The Embody Gaming Chair builds on Herman Miller’s Embody Chair as a platform – to offer improved lower back support, increased forward-leaning, and swivel ability, as well as more adjustments for gaming tables and monitors.
It allows a gamer’s body to be aligned and balanced properly, offering unparalleled comfort and several enhancements, like cooling foam, with copper-infused particles, that helps support an ideal gaming posture and reduces heat buildup caused by sitting on thick cushions for a long period of time.
The chair also offers pixelated support, to distribute weight evenly, to reduce pressure, and to encourage movement.
In addition to the Gaming Chair, the two companies are also launching the Motia, Ratio, and Nevi height-adjustable Gaming Desks and a monitor arm for gamers.
The desks complement the Embody Gaming Chair perfectly – both in terms of aesthetics and functionality. Furthermore, they encourage regular movement and let users easily switch between postures. Finally, they feature a matte black anti-smudge and anti-glare finish.
The chair and Gaming Desks can be paired with the matching Ollin Gaming Monitor Arm that supports various monitors and laptops of different weights and sizes.
The Herman Miller X Logitech G Embody Gaming Chair is available for purchase for $1,495 USD (£1,195 / €1,320)
