Dearly beloved, we have gathered here today to announce some life-changing news: you are now able to schedule posts on Instagram. Told you. Life-changing.
No, I’m not talking about “reminders” to post. I’m not even talking about grey zones. We’re talking true post scheduling and publishing on Instagram. Let’s pop a cork, shall we?
Now, let’s see how this will work. As you know Instagram + Facebook = Facebook, so last year, as part of the whole convergence, Instagram started updating to the Instagram Graph API, built on Facebook’s Graph API. Instagram Graph API, has already brought features for businesses, such as organic Insights, and comment moderation.
Today, Instagram Graph API is bringing Christmas back, as it will give businesses the opportunity to schedule posts on Instagram through its Facebook and Instagram Partners – accredited social content scheduling platforms like HootSuite and Sprout Social. Both platforms already offer the service.
Say hurray? Hurray!
