In June, Facebook forced users who had synced their photos to download its Moments app, much to some people’s annoyance. However, the company has now updated its photo-sharing app with some brand new features, that will make frequent users happier.
Facebook has updated its Moments app with three awesome new features: Favourites, joinable moments, and full-resolution image uploading.
Joinable moments allow users to easily create a moment to share with other who can also join and add photos to. And they are not only open to users who have the Moments app. Anyone can join them. Those who do not have the app simply view images on the web.

In order to user the new feature, you need to “click on one of your existing moments or create a new one”. Then, by clicking on the three dots at the bottom of the screen, choose “Share Link” to share the moment it via message or email. You can also copy the link to share it through any other channel.
The new update also adds a “favorites” tab on Moments. All images that you have uploaded or received from other users within 30 days can be saved to the new tab – this, in full-resolution. All you have to do is tap on the star on the top right-hand corner.
And guess what. The favourites tab allows you to store an unlimited amount of images!
If you are a user of the Moments app, now is the time to update! Of course, the update is available on both Android and iOS.
