Just like every year, Facebook will also use the occasion to present new product features and provide insights and tips to build “meaningful and impactful communities,” as well as celebrate community builders who are making a difference across the world.
The event will also include invite-only regional events for community builders, with access to product deep-dives, workshops, and networking opportunities.
Since 2017, Facebook’s Communities Summit events have seen the announcement of various powerful new tools and features for groups, and awards, to celebrate its most dedicated and impactful members and encourage further meaningful contributions.
Finally, at the November event, Facebook will launch a new ‘Community Awards’ program to highlight further the work that moderators do to build and maintain their communities.
Facebook Community Awards will feature 22 nominees across seven categories who stand out for their meaningful work, inspiring others, and bringing people together across various interests and topics.
The seven winners will receive $50k each, together with Facebook’s support to further grow their communities. Users can help select the winners and vote for the most inspiring community makers here before October 22.
You can RSVP to the event here and tune in live at 9 AM PT on Thursday, November 4, on the Facebook App Facebook Page.
