Toilet paper brand Charmin is jumping on the NFT bandwagon with its own toilet paper-themed artwork that will be auctioned off for charity.
NFTs (aka non-fungible tokens) are all the rage these days, with celebrities, artists, and musicians minting and auctioning off anything from artworks to music albums, or even Tweets on crypto art platforms. At the same time, brands are also starting to join the trend.
One of these is toilet paper company Charmin which started selling an NFT artwork, themed around… toilet paper, of course.

The NFT – or NFTP (non-fungible toilet paper) as Charmin calls it, will come with a “physical display” for those who would like to “hang your NFTP in your bathroom alongside your IRL rolls.” There are five designs that you can bid for, and there is only one NFT per artwork.
Charmin’s NFTP might be a PR stunt, but this isn’t just about the buzz. The brand explains that all proceeds from sales will be donated to Direct Relief. Bids currently vary with the highest at over $2,000 USD.
