We haven’t heard much from Pinterest lately, but that’s ok. When it announces something, it’s usually pretty good news. This time, it’s the launch of a dedicated shopping section within the platform – called Pinterest Shop.

Now, instead of just browsing through people’s Pinterest boards and checking out all those cool products, Pinterest will tell you about “new collections—from entertaining essentials to cozy winter accessories” for you to buy. Essentially, it’s a place where you can find products from well-known brands, and also from new smaller, lesser-known companies as well.

As it is a curated section essentially, you can find new and trending jewellery and clothing collections as well as many other products that have been chosen for you. All you have to do is tap on the explore icon and then “Shop”.
The Pinterest Shop is a store within Pinterest that uses buyable Pins, but showcases certain products and helps companies show theirs off. It’s available on the Pinterest apps on iOS and Android, but not on the desktop version of the platform just yet. That’s actually not a big deal really as most traffic on Pinterest actually comes from mobile devices.
With roughly 60 million Buyable Pins on Pinterest at the moment, it will be hard not to find something to buy.
