Buffer is already a beloved social media dashboard amongst marketers. The platform is probably the best way to schedule and spread your posts over time. It particularly works well for Twitter, but also accepts posts from Facebook, LinkedIn or Google Plus.
But now, Buffer can also do much more. It can also be the perfect tool for online customer service.
Three months ago, Buffer acquired Respondly, a social media customer service and brand monitoring tool. So it’s no surprise that Buffer has launched Respond, a new tool dedicated to helping you offer exceptional customer service online.

Respond promises it will help you deliver exceptionally responsive Twitter support with real-time monitoring, keyword search and reporting. The app can enable desktop notifications so you will never miss an important mention. If you are a Slack user, Respond can also notify you there.
More importantly, Respond comes with team-support, so it is very easy for larger teams to collaborate on the platform. And if you have ever been involved in managing online CS for a large brand, you know that you need your whole team involved.

You can start using Respond for free. That will allow you to monitor one Twitter @handle. If you need to monitor more, or have more users accessing the tool, then you will need to upgrade to the pro version, and that will set you back $39 per month.
