Zoom Unveils New Features, Including Security And Privacy Updates

Zoom has announced several updates to streamline the flow of meetings, enhance security and privacy, and more.

As part of its latest product update, Zoom announced the release of several new features across its platform.

The updates are meant to streamline the flow of meetings, provide additional ways to catch up with coworkers, reduce friction in the hybrid work experience, and enhance user security and privacy.

Firstly, Zoom is introducing the new Video Mail for Zoom Phone, which allows users to greet callers with video greetings and leave video messages on a voicemail inbox.

Secondly, it’s introducing a new feature, dubbed Workspace Reservation, which enables users to book spaces using an interactive map, on-site or remotely. The feature is now being released in a public beta

Thirdly, Zoom is bringing iPad Support for Zoom for Home, allowing users to connect to their Apple iPad.

Now, Zoom is also extending support for Zoom Apps in breakout rooms, giving users the ability to use their favorite workplace apps and interactive games there. Furthermore, the company is enhancing security updates for Zoom Meetings and Zoom Video Webinars.

In addition to the previous product updates, Zoom also announced the launch of the Zoom Learning Center, a free and accessible platform to anyone interested in learning how to Zoom like a pro.
