If you have ever tried to take a selfie with your dog, you will know the pain. It’s almost impossible to shoot a good picture. Well, except if you have the required accessory. Introducing SelfieStix by Pedigree.
Dogs might be sleeping most of the day, but I am certain that you will never get them to stand still for a selfie. And even if you do, they will probably not be looking at the camera. Except if you “make” them.
Introducing the SelfieStix. The first-ever device that guarantees perfect selfies with your dog. Pedigree created the campaign together with BBDO and gave away thousands of these small plastic devices that clip onto your phone and hold a DentaStix, Pedigree’s #1 choice of treat.
They could have stopped there. The world would already be a better place now that dogs have mastered the art of the selfie. But they didn’t. They took it even further. BBDO and Pedigree created the SelfieSTIX app, basically the first Snapchat for dogs, with dog face filters.
While it seems like a no-brainer, the team had to develop unique dog facial recognition technology using the Stanford University dog dataset to train their AI.
I am telling you, SelfieStix has changed the face of the world.
