Twitter is updating the design of Twitter.com and the new layout comes with a few interesting tweaks for users.
If you don’t like change, stay away from Twitter. The company has started rolling out a new design for Twitter.com as select users are receiving opt-in messages to be test the new format.
At first sight you will see that the entire interface looks pretty different. Both profile and feed pages are now inverted, with most of the action taking place on the left side (instead of it being the opposite before.)

But there’s more to the redesign than just a new layout. The new Twitter.com includes an Emoji button, quick keyboard shortcuts, improvement to search and a revisited “Trends for You” section.

The new Twitter.com follows announcements from CES that Twitter will begin testing new features for users and publishers: new conversation threads, Facebook-like statuses and indicators informing followers when users are online.
