Twitter is testing a new feature that allows users to subscribe to newsletters in one click via its newly acquired newsletter service, Revue.
Months after it acquired Revue, Twitter is integrating the Dutch newsletter subscription service into its platform with a new button on Twitter profiles.
The button allows users to sign up to newsletters directly from within the app, without having to follow links to external websites. Similarly, Revue creators can now add the subscription button to Twitter, recruiting new subscribers, easily, without diverting them away from their profile.

In order for creators to add the new button on their Twitter profiles, the feature has to be activated within Revue’s settings.
Once enabled, the CTA button will appear as a newsletter card underneath their Twitter bio, much like a pinned tweet.
The CTA button will automatically populate with the Revue newsletter title, a photo, a short description, and the subscribe button.
When users click on Subscribe, a dialog box will appear reminding them that they are consenting to give away their email address – and it will offer a sample issue of the newsletter before the subscription process is completed.
It’s here 🧡
Today, we’re starting to test a feature that allows people to subscribe to your Revue newsletter directly from your Twitter profile.
It's available to all Revue creators immediately. To start though, your newsletters will show only for a test group on Twitter. pic.twitter.com/YDa1aOGeLM

Revue has also announced the feature in a Tweet, saying that “Revue makes it free and easy for anyone to start and publish newsletters, so we want to make it just as easy to turn your Twitter followers into subscribers.”
The feature, initially tested in June with a select group of Revue creators, will be available on Android and the web – with iOS to follow soon.
Twitter acquired Revue back in January as part of its efforts to provide users with more means to monetize their presence on its platform.
