Twitter is testing a new feature that allows brands to add a shopping section to the top of their profiles.
The ‘Shop Module’ offers a carousel of products that can be bought without ever leaving Twitter.

The new Twitter Shop Module launches in the US today but it will be available to only a few select brands for now, and only on iOS devices for people who use Twitter in English.
Brands who are part of the test will be able to list products in a carousel present at the top of their profiles. Tapping on a product will link to a listing with the option to purchase the item directly from within Twitter itself.
“People talk about products on Twitter every day, so we’re excited about how this early exploration of the Shop Module can build a bridge between people talking about and discovering products on Twitter to actually purchasing them,” Twitter says.
Around a dozen brands have access to the pilot, including GameStop and Arden Cove. Twitter did not reveal a timeline for when it might expand to more brands.
