Tinder has changed dating forever by bringing it down its simplest form: swipe right to let someone know you like them. If they like you back, then you can start exchanging messages. Done. But what the app cannot do – not yet anyway – is to make you interesting. That’s up to you.
The good news is that now you’ll be able to use GIFs when you “just can’t come up with the right line”.

Of course, Tinder is just following the trend of social networking apps, most of which already support GIFs – Twitter or Facebook for example. But in Tinder’s case, it might actually make total sense to let users access the world’s largest collection of GIFs.
Sean Radd, Tinder’s CEO, explained how this new feature will benefit users:
This will unlock the potential for users to interact with potential dates in a more nuanced and compelling way than with verbal language alone.
On his side, Adam Leinsohn, COO at Giphy confirmed the partnership, explaining that there is a clear common approach between the two platforms:
Giphy is shaping the future of communication and Tinder is shaping the way people connect.
The new feature is already available to some users, and should be rolled out to everyone just in time for Valentine’s Day, one of the busiest time of the year for Tinder.
