TikTok and Jaden Smith are collaborating on exclusive co-branded merch and a global Live stream to celebrate the release of CTV3: Cool Tape Vol. 3.
TikTok is looking to help more music artists reach their audiences, on its platform, by creating innovative formats that let them be themselves – authentically. A new partnership with Jaden Smith on the occasion of the launch of his latest album demonstrates just how unique and interactive elements of a TikTok campaign can be.
The partnership features new co-branded merch that was made available over the weekend – exclusively through TikTok LIVE stream with Addison Rae – and TikTok-exclusive audio-visual content for fans.
It will make Smith the first artist to make exclusive co-branded merchandise available this way, allowing fans across the globe to purchase without navigating away from the stream.

The merch collection – a collaborative effort between Smith and TikTok – was inspired by the vibrant colors reflected throughout the CTV3: Cool Tape Vol. 3 campaign, and includes exclusive CTV3 tie-dye bucket hat, face mask, an at-home tie-dye kit, and two additional co-branded pieces pink hoodie and a yellow t-shirt.

“I’m so honored that TikTok wanted to work with me on this project,” says Smith. “I really care about TikTok’s ability to impact youth culture, and I definitely want to make an impact on youth culture with this album. I want to spread peace and love in the world, and TikTok is helping me do that. So thanks to them, and thank you to anyone who listens to the album. Cool Tape Vol. 3 is out now, and I’m so excited!”
22-year-old Smith is no stranger to success on TikTok. Hashtag #jadensmith had over 100M views on the app before he even signed up.
TikTok says it wants to continue to make “it easy for creators and artists to build livelihoods from their TikTok talents, offering the opportunity to have their vision seen and music discovered.” Partnering with stars, like Jaden Smith, shows just how much it wants to promote this.
