Video grew a lot in the social media space in 2015 and has become one of the most important content types currently out there. It has also grown into one of the most effective marketing tools this year, and one of my predictions for 2016 is that it will develop and rise further, becoming a huge asset for marketers who are able to use it effectively in their efforts.

Video is very important as it’s highly engaging, it converts customers, and 70% of B2B marketers agree. There are many marketers currently testing video content – 87% of online marketers to be exact. Taking all the above into consideration, and looking at the fact that over 1.5 billion online users will be consuming video globally in 2016, the next year is going to be a massive year for video and video marketing. With new video formats and technologies, it’s only logical that we will see many new and interesting implementations of the medium within 2016.
And in 2017… over 69% of all internet traffic from consumers will be related to video!
