The $99 in-ear adidas sport headphones are the newest set designed for athletes, with “ergonomic” eartips and earwings.
adidas might not be the first brand you think of when shopping for headphones. But today the brand is adding a new in-ear model to its range, joining the FWD-01 and RPT-o1 as training specific models.

The RPD-01 adidas sport headphones have adopted the neckband style which has already helped convince many people to choose in-ear for their training headphones. According to the brand, they come with “ergonomic” eartips and earwings, which ensure the right fit for all athletes’ ears.
adidas partnered with Zound Industries to design and manufacture the RPD-o1.
“For 2020, we wanted to enable even more athletes to boost their workouts with adidas Sport headphone’s superior sound and design,” said Petra Steenhouwer, a brand director at Zound Industries. “This inspired us to create the RPD-01, a product that takes our meticulous approach to audio and makes it accessible to everyday athletes, at all levels, leaving no one behind.”
The headphones have up to 12 hours of playback time and are certified IPX4 for weather resistance, giving it protection against sweat and splashes. They are built using Bluetooth 5 technology and come with a three-button remote control with the option of creating custom shortcuts.
