Spotify is finally removing its 10,000-song library limit, allowing users to add as many songs as they like to their personal libraries.
it has been a long time coming but users can finally add as much music as they would like to their personal libraries on Spotify. The company announced this morning that it is removing the 10,000-song limit for libraries.

Spotify currently has over 50 million songs available to stream at any time on its platform. However, until today, users could not save more than 10,000 of these to their own “Your Music” collections.
You may think 10,000 is already a lot, but users have actually been requesting the limit to be removed for years – something Spotify had shown resistance to until today.
The main reason? Well, as you can imagine, fewer than 1% of users actually do reach that limit. Something you will never be able to achieve now, because your library size has now technically become limitless.
This is no more. After today, you can add as many songs as you like to your Liked Songs on @Spotify

But, don’t confuse libraries and playlists. Individual playlists are still capped at 10,000 songs. And you can still only download up to 10,000 songs on each of the devices connected to your Spotify account.
Again, who needs 10,000 songs on their iPhone?
