Video, video, video. No matter how many times we say it, it’s never enough. Video is already at its peak, and Snapchat seems to be outpacing its competitors really fast.
The news come straight from Snapchat’s CEO, Evan Spiegel, who told bankers and analysts at Morgan Stanley’s Tech, Media & Telecom conference in San Francisco, on Monday afternoon, that the platform’s video views have been catapulted recently.
Just to put things into perspective, during March 2015, Snapchat reported that it had 2 billion video views. Then in January, the number went up, landing at a hefty 6 billion views. And now, two months down the line, it’s 8 billion views – 400% up since one year ago.
Well, maybe Facebook should take notes!
