Reddit – “the front page of the internet”, is perhaps one of the few true social media platforms today. It’s all about the community, and sharing news on a platform which places more importance on the news the community likes the most. Yes, this is the essence of what a social media platform should be.
And now, Reddits can be embedded on any other website, making it even more “social.” And the embeds actually look great too!

The new embed feature is available for nearly every post on Reddit, including linked posts, images, videos and GIFs! As is the case with most other social media embeds, what you will get is a snippet of code you can then copy/paste in the HTML of your website.

To embed a post, simply click on the share button and choose “embed:”
After that, a pop-up window will open, giving you the snippet of code you will need to copy/paste into your website. Notice that you also get the option to make the code friendly for Facebook Instant Articles!
I really believe this new feature will bring more people to the platform as Reddits will now be seen by many more Internet users.
