Pinterest is launching a new “more ideas” tab so that users can explore recommendations based on ideas that they’ve already saved.
In its bid to make it easier for users to bring to life the projects they’re planning, Pinterest is introducing a new tab that will provide personalised recommendations matching what they’ve been saving on the platform. The “more ideas” tab that will appear on all boards and sections will also offer suggestions for new sections to add in order to help organize ideas on Pinterest.
Just in time for Halloween and the big question: Who, or what am I going to dress up as? Users will be able to find more recommendations “that fit [their] theme and discover creative twists along the way.”
In the announcement for the new feature, Pinterest explains that users “can also quickly organize […] ideas into sections, so it’s easier than ever to make all the things [they] dream up on [their] boards a reality.
The “more ideas” tab and section recommendations feature is intended to boost discovery for users in the sense that it will highlight new content for them. Marketers will appreciate that they can stay updated with trending Pins and other content related to their saves. It’s now available now to everyone on pinterest.com and its apps. All you have to do is update your app to try it out.
