Today Facebook has launched Fundraisers, a new tool to help non-profits accept donations from people on Facebook.
To create a fundraiser, you will need to own a Nonprofit organisation Facebook page. The tool allows you to tell your followers about your cause, rally more supporters and collect donations without ever leaving Facebook. You may remember that Donate buttons had been activated months ago, but transactions never took place within Facebook itself.

Fundraisers is part of Facebook’s campaign to give back to the community. Facebook is a fantastic tool for non-profits that helps them build awareness for their cause and spread their message without the usually associated cost of traditional advertising or PR. Now, with fundraiser, non-profits can also raise the funds they need to support their cause, and all that without leaving Facebook.
