The Wild update will bring two new overworld biomes to the game: The Deep Dark and the Mangrove Swamp. The Deep Dark will be found by mining far below the surface and is said to be located by the terrible cries of a shrieker that will call upon mobs to face you down. The Mangrove Swamp will exist on the surface and will be full of massive mangrove trees you can mine for a new type of wood.
On the mobs side, players will now discover the shrieker, warden, allay, and frogs. Allay and frogs are friendlies, while Shrieker and Warden will be lurking, waiting to attack.
The Wild update will not be the most expansive or biggest update Minecraft has known over the years but it will give players renewed motivation to jump back into the game.
Coming to your favorite platform on June 7.
